This strong level 2 class is designed for the student who wants to challenge themselves and up their pace a bit, and for the level 3 student who wants a solid 60 minute class that's well-rounded, targeting the whole body, but not overly intense. We focus on sun salutes A and B combined with a series of repeated chair and bear poses meant to strengthen the legs and the muscles that support the spine. The standing sequence includes triangle, tree pose, warrior 2, extended side angle and a series of twisting poses. The practice concludes with camel and then a floor core/balance sequence that leads to bridge and wheel, and then finishes off with a long sequence of forward bends including cobblers pose and supine poses meant to bring harmony to the spine and nervous system.
