This challenging and well-rounded class includes poses to strengthen the muscles and bones, increase flexibility and improve balance. It builds on internally rotated standing poses including crescent, warrior 3 variations, standing splits, deep hamstring work and shoulder openers as prep leading to a more complicated balance pose in the heart of the sequence. This practice will also explore locust and bow as backbends and finish off with a series of twists and forward bends to bring balance to the spine and re-regulate. This well-rounded class will prepare the body by incorporating strength, flexibility and balancing the nervous system.
