In this powerful 60-min Level 3 Vinyasa Flow class, Seane emphasizes the tool of Surya Namaskar A and B in the first half of the class to establish flow, heat and flexibility. Then, she starts integrating deeper standing poses like Standing Lotus, Bear, Warrior I and II, Triangle, Half-Moon, Crescent Twist, interlocking in Extended Side Angle, Eka Pada Galavasana and Horse Stance with Eagle arms. There is a theme of flowing slower and holding poses longer, to really establish strength, stamina and patience. Infused in the class is deep core conditioning, with poses like Plank and Boat; and towards the end, Seane slows it down with extended hip openers and backbends. There is a beautiful, still seated meditation at the end, to integrate, and then Shivasana. This is a challenging class that builds focus and heat, while rinsing and releasing old, stuck energy.
